From macadamia farm to marketing maven
Kim’s journey began far from the city lights, growing up on her family's macadamia farm in the Byron hinterland. Hard work and dedication were ingrained in her from a young age, which served her well when she decided to pursue a corporate marketing career. With a passion for the Pinterest aesthetic corporate marketer life, Kim knew she had to stand out from the crowd.
Her understanding of personal branding started as a subconscious practice, which she honed into a strategic skill early in her career. At just twenty-one, she made a name for herself with an iconic Australian brand, further achieving eight role advancements across three companies in ten years before venturing into entrepreneurship.
In 2023, Kim began sharing her experiences and lessons online, quickly growing an audience on TikTok and Instagram. Her candid stories, down-to-earth advice, and country charm resonated with viewers, amassing over 10 million video views in her first 12 months. Kim’s natural ability to connect with people by understanding their pain points not only helped her build an authentic community but also created content that made people say, "It’s like you’re in my mind."
Having faced challenges like burnout and redundancy, Kim emerged with renewed energy and a mission to inspire others. She empowers people across the globe to take control of their personal brand and unlock their career potential, regardless of their field.
